Working with partner, Earnhardt Outdoors™, the outdoor lifestyle brand founded by siblings Kerry Earnhardt, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., the two organizations will offer three prizes for participants who “Like” the Tackle Grab Facebook page or spread the word about the contest via the Facebook “Share” function. Prizes include:

Grand Prize (one winner): All-expenses paid trip for two to the NASCAR race weekend at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway November 14-16, 2014, plus a meet-and-greet with Kerry, Kelley and Dale Earnhardt Jr., and a private fishing excursion with Kerry Earnhardt. The prize package includes round trip airfare, four nights’ hotel accommodations, $500 spending cash and two tickets to all three series races.

Second Prize (five winners): One fishing rod from Dobyns Rods and one Daiwa reel.

Third Prize (ten winners): Tackle Grab apparel and three month credit for gift membership.

In celebration of the contest, Tackle Grab’s Street Team will be onsite at the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Iowa Speedway on August 2, 2014, supporting JR Motorsports’ No. 5 Tackle Grab Chevrolet driven by Josh Berry in his Nationwide Series debut. The contest will begin online at the start of the race, and will close on September 1, 2014.

Tackle Grab Joins the 2014 PayPal Start Tank Accelerator Program

March 6, 2014 – Tackle Grab today announced its acceptance as part of the 2014 Start Tank program. Offered by online payment processing company PayPal, Start Tank provides startups based in Boston the opportunity to work with a team of PayPal mentors and select small businesses to accelerate their business growth.

Tackle Grab will join the program beginning on March 10th, 2014, alongside a variety of other businesses ranging from mobile platforms to digital health portals. Through collaboration with other startup founders and their teams, Tackle Grab has the opportunity to tap into a vast network of entrepreneurial resources and explore new areas of creativity and innovation.

May 6, 2013 – Tackle Grab, a leading online subscription-based fishing tackle retailer, and The Fin, a social photosharing app for fishermen, have teamed up to launch Go Fish North America – a campaign designed to send a single bait across the continent. By engaging participants from Massachusetts to Ottawa, the goal is to connect anglers throughout North America, supporting the discovery of new baits and fishing experiences.

The 40 designated participants of Go Fish North America will be asked to fish with a single lure provided by AR Lures, snap a photo of the fish and share on The Fin, and pass along the lure to the next designated angler via mail. Massachusetts Pro Endorses Innovative Tackle Retailer

Tackle Grab, a leading online subscription-based fishing tackle retailer, announced today that it will partner with Bassmaster Elite Series pro Byron “BJ” Haseotes for the 2013 tournament season.

The company provides anglers with the latest high-quality lures from a wide variety of manufacturers, with monthly packages specifically tailored to profiles crafted by the customers. Memberships can be structured on 3, 6 or 12 month bases, and the Massachusetts-based Haseotes will play a critical role in informing Tackle Grab’s selections.

“With BJ’s expertise, we will be able to provide an array of new products and learning experiences for our bass anglers,” said Owen Hall, Tackle Grab CFO and co-founder.

Haseotes competed on the Elite Series in 2011 and took off the 2012 season on a hardship basis. This year he’ll be back in full force, competing not only in the Elite Series, but in other selected events as his busy schedule allows. He’ll start the season next week with an open event in Florida.
