Membership

I just signed up for a Tackle Grab subscription! What will I receive?

Every month, you’ll receive a box filled with lures, baits, and terminal tackle from under-the-radar gems to well known brands. Each delivery will include a mix of categories that correspond to your individual fishing profile. You’ll also want to take advantage of TackleGrab.com, which is packed with product information and tips, including expert interviews, helpful tutorials, and engaging videos.

When can I expect my first shipment?

Check your order confirmation for an estimated shipping date. Typically our boxes ship on the 20th of each month. Your first Tackle Grab box will likely arrive the month after you place your initial subscription order. All Tackle Grab boxes ship from our East Coast facility and should arrive an estimated 5-10 business days after they ship.

If I have a subscription, what happens at the end of my final month?

All Tackle Grab subscriptions automatically renew so you never miss a box (except gift subscriptions—see next question). We’ll remind you via email when the auto-renew is about to occur. You can opt out of auto-renewal at any time—simply email us at support@tacklegrab.com.

If I have a gift subscription, what happens when I reach my last month?

If you have a gift subscription, it will be terminated after you receive your last box. After your last box is received, you can re-subscribe and become a regular recurring subscriber. If you already have an account, log in to tacklegrab.com and sign up to re-subscribe.

What is your cancellation policy?

Members can cancel their Tackle Grab subscription from renewing at any time. Simply go to your Account page and look for the ‘Cancel Subscription’ link under Tackle Grab Membership Details. Click to submit your cancellation. You can also contact us at support@tacklegrab.com to cancel.

Shipping

Where does Tackle Grab ship? And how?

We currently ship only within the United States, its territories, and Canada. Shipments are sent via the US Postal Service (USPS). Every month, once your Tackle Grab Box is sent, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow its progress to your door! The post office will deliver it without signature confirmation.

Tackle Grab Boxes arrive once a month! Refer to your order confirmation to determine when your first Tackle Grab will ship. All subsequent Tackle Grab Boxes will ship from our facility around the 20th day of the month as long as your membership is active. You can expect your shipment to arrive 5-10 business days after it’s shipped.

What if I want to change my address?

You can make changes to your billing and shipping addresses in your account page underneath your membership status. Be sure to make all address changes (and credit card changes if necessary!) by the 25th of each month. Billing and the printing of shipping labels start a few days before the first of the month. If you haven’t made address changes by the deadline, your Tackle Grab will go to the previous address we have on file for you.

What is your shipping policy? Do you offer free shipping?

Tackle Grab Boxes are the best way to try new gear without making a large investment. We want to put these great products in your hands as quickly and easily as possible, so shipping is free on all monthly Tackle Grab Boxes. In addition, if you want more of any of the sampled products, you can purchase them from the Tackle Grab Store. Any order $50 or more always ships for free.

Will you tell me what is coming in my box ahead of time? Can I choose?

The surprise is part of the fun! That’s why we keep the tackle and brands a secret until you receive them. Still curious? Check out the list of our brand partners on the Brand page and products in the Tackle Grab Store to get a sense of what we have sent in the past.

Is the Tackle Grab box customized? Will I love the products?

Yes we do customize the boxes—that’s why filling out your profile is so important! Some tackle is sent to almost everyone—these products are chosen carefully to ensure that they’ll work for a wide range of member profiles. Other samples are chosen specifically for your individual fishing needs. We are truly committed to never sending you the same lures or terminal tackle twice!

What if I don’t like the tackle I receive?

We hope this doesn’t happen! But if it does, please tell us. Feedback is important to us and we promise to respond. Tackle Grab is all about getting its members the best tackle for their specific fishing needs!

What is your cancellation policy?

Memberships can be cancelled from renewing at any time from your account page or by sending us an email with your order number at support@tacklegrab.com. Once the first box on a subscription has been shipped, the subscription can only be cancelled from renewing.

Tackle Grab Points

How does the Tackle Grab Points program work?

It’s easy! For every 10 points you earn, you’ll get a $1 reward, which can be used for up to 40% off full-sized products in the Tackle Grab store. You can check your points any time by logging in to your account.

How do I earn Tackle Grab Points?

We love our Tackle Grab members, so we want to reward them by offering many ways to earn Tackle Grab Points and save big bucks in the Tackle Grab online store. For a full breakdown on the various ways to earn Tackle Grab Points, please follow this link.

Do I earn Points with each month’s Tackle Grab subscription?

You bet! Active members earn Tackle Grab Points when they enroll (more TG Points if you choose longer subscriptions) and they also receive additional loyalty points each month. For a full breakdown on the various ways to earn Tackle Grab Points, please follow this link.

When will I receive my Tackle Grab Points for a friend referral?

Your Tackle Grab Points will be updated automatically by the end of the same month that your referred friend receives their first Tackle Grab sample box. Thanks for spreading the word about Tackle Grab!

How do I redeem my Tackle Grab Points?

Redeeming your Tackle Grab Points is easy! Simply add items to your shopping cart, and click the ‘Checkout’ button (if you’re not already signed in, the next screen will prompt you to sign in to your account). Continue through the checkout process. When you get to the payment section, your TG points will be applied automatically. A discount of up to 40% in savings off the retail price of the product(s) will be deducted from your order total. Done! Visit our Tackle Grab Points page to see a screenshot.

How many Tackle Grab Points do I earn for sharing product feedback?

You’ll receive 50 Tackle Grab Points for each eligible product feedback survey. Your account will be updated within 1-2 business days with your Points. Please note that to be eligible to receive Points for your feedback, you must 1) be a current monthly or yearly member in good standing; 2) have received the product sample from Tackle Grab; and 3) have filled out the feedback survey within 30 days of receipt of your sample.

Do you offer any special discounts or promotions on full-size products? Do full-size products ship for free?

Membership comes with benefits! We offer Tackle Grab Points, a generous rewards program that gives you many ways to earn points that can be redeemed for savings on Tackle Grab Store products. We offer free shipping on all orders of $50 or more, all the time. We also have special promotions that we’ll tell you about via email – one more reason to keep checking your inbox!

What is your shipping policy? Do you ever offer free shipping?

All Tackle Grab monthly samples are shipped for free. And, as always, any order of $50 or more ships for free within the contiguous U.S. states or to Canada if it’s for $75 or more. All other orders that do not qualify for free shipping will follow the following rate table.

What is your defective products policy?

Tackle Grab wants you to be completely satisfied with everything that we offer. This begins from the site to the product you select in the Tackle Grab Store. All products you are not satisfied with should be shipped back to Tackle Grab to be examined by our quality control department. If it is determined to be defective per Tackle Grab standards, we will immediately ship you a replacement or refund your money. All refunds are subject to our shipping, return, and exchange policies, if any. Please note credits resulting from the monthly boxes or Tackle Grab Store purchases are only available up to 30 days past the date of the charge. Refunds are at the sole discretion of Tackle Grab and should be reflected on your credit card statement within 30-45 days.

What is your Tackle Grab Store order cancellation policy?

If you have any issues with your order, please send us an email at support@tacklegrab.com. We will do our very best to accommodate your request and provide you with a shipping return label for a return/exchange if necessary. Please see our return policy in the question above for more information about returns.

Can I gift a Tackle Grab subscription?

You can gift a Tackle Grab subscription for 3, 6, or 12 months. Tackle Grab subscriptions are sold on a first come, first served basis. If you have ever been a Tackle Grab subscriber, you can log into your account to purchase gift subscriptions right away. For more information, please visit the gifting page. Can I pay with the credit card saved with my subscription?

Yes, the majority of Tackle Grab members can use the credit card details we have on file for your monthly payment for quick and easy checkout. Some types of subscriptions do not have this option activated.

Can I save a different credit card with my account?

Unfortunately not; only the credit card associated with your subscription can be used. If you would like to use a different credit card simply select “Use different credit card” at checkout and enter your card details.

Do I have to use my saved credit card at checkout?

No. Select “use different credit card” at checkout and use any card you like by entering the card details.

Gift Subscriptions

Do I get referral points if I referred a friend and he/she purchases a gift subscription?

Tackle Grab referral points only apply in the purchase of a 3-month, 6-month or yearly recurring Tackle Grab subscription.

Is the gift subscription on the monthly Tackle Grab shipping cycle?

The first box of a gift subscription is shipped when the gift recipient activates the account. All subsequent boxes will be shipped according to the Tackle Grab monthly shipping cycle (around the 20th of the month).

What happens when my gift subscription ends?

If you have a gift subscription, it will expire after you receive your last box in the mail. You can then re-subscribe and become a monthly or yearly recurring subscriber. If you redeemed your gift subscription, simply log into your account and click on the ‘join’ tab to purchase a subscription. Don’t hesitate to email us at support@tacklegrab.com if you need further assistance!

What if I don’t know my recipient’s shipping address?

If you do not supply your recipient’s shipping address, we will need their email address in order to send them a gift notification.

What service is used to ship the first gift box?

The first Tackle Grab of any gift subscription is always a “welcome” box. These boxes ship from our facility via USPS. Please ensure that the shipping address accepts USPS shipments. If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at support@tacklegrab.com.

Will I be notified when the first Tackle Grab ships?

Yes! You will receive a shipping notification via email when the first Tackle Grab ships!

Can I redeem a gift subscription for cash or for another product in the Store?

Gift subscriptions cannot be redeemed for cash or other products in our Store. If you already have an existing Tackle Grab subscription and have been gifted a subscription, please email us support@tacklegrab.com to arrange for an alternative.

I’ve lost my redemption link. What should I do to activate my account?

Not a problem! Visit our contact page and submit your email address to have another redemption link sent.

What if the gift recipient does not complete the redemption process?

The recipient must redeem their gift code in order to activate the subscription. If the recipient has not redeemed the subscription or needs the gift email to be re-sent, please email us with your order number at support@tacklegrab.com

Can I fill out a profile for my gift recipient?

The recipient will have the opportunity to fill out their profile through the gift redemption process after they receive their Welcome Gift Box.

Cancelling Gift Memberships

Can I cancel a gift membership?

Gift memberships can only be cancelled 24 hours after the order has been placed. No refunds can be given on a subscription of which the first package has shipped out.
